Federated Data Sharing Security Working Group
The Federated Data Sharing Security (FDSS) Working Group's (WG) purpose is to address the need to specify security-related metadata for data and associate it with data, a access policies, rights, and roles. This system will complement legal, audit, and governance frameworks. The WG will then pursue resource acquisition for and development of an open source reference implementation. The WG recognizes that myriad standard specifications, tools, and best practices already exist, notably those produced by NIST. Of course, to WG will leverage them.
